Registration is completed online through PlayMetrics. We provide step-by-step instructions to help you create an account for your player (required only once) and complete registration.

Returning players do not need to create a new account. Simply click the registration link and sign in using your existing PlayMetrics account.

Yes! You will receive an email confirmation once your child’s registration is complete. We will also send additional updates as we get closer to the start of the season.

During registration, you will have the opportunity to submit a teammate request. If your child would like to play with a specific teammate or coach, please email us at legendsrec@legendsfc.net. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

Requests are accommodated whenever possible on a first-come, first-served basis. However, requests cannot always be guaranteed. Reasons may include:

• The requested players are in different US Youth Soccer (USYS) age groups.

• The requested coach is not coaching or is assigned to a different age group.

• The team has already reached its maximum roster size.

All team change requests must be submitted by email to the Recreation Administrator at legendsrec@legendsfc.net. Please include your child’s name, current team, and reason for the request.

All requests will be reviewed, and approval will depend on availability and other considerations. Team changes cannot be accommodated if the requested team has reached its maximum roster size.

Legends Recreational Soccer strongly recommends that players participate in their appropriate age group, as established by US Youth Soccer (USYS). Our program is designed to provide age-appropriate training and development.

Requests to play in an older age group must be submitted by email to the Recreation Administrator at legendsrec@legendsfc.net. A Director or Age Group Coordinator may need to evaluate your child to determine whether they are ready to participate in the older age group.

US Youth Soccer (USYS) only permits players with qualifying mental or physical disabilities to participate in a younger age group.

Requests must be submitted in writing to the Recreation Administrator at legendsrec@legendsfc.net. Please include your child’s name, age group, and the reason for your request.

Practices are held at SilverLakes Sports Complex once or twice per week, between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM.

The Recreational Program Coordinator will develop and maintain the master practice schedule. Your team’s practice schedule will be available on PlayMetrics.

All games are held on Saturdays at SilverLakes Sports Complex.

Game schedules will be posted on PlayMetrics and distributed to coaches and team managers.

Coaches receive their team rosters and information once teams have been formed and volunteer coaches have been confirmed.

Once your child’s coach receives the roster, they will contact their players with information about practices and the upcoming season.

If a coach has not yet been assigned, the Director of Coaching or Recreation Administrator will provide updates through our mass email system.

Soccer cleats are recommended for players in the U8 age group and older. Players in the U5 and U6 age groups may wear regular athletic shoes, as cleats are optional.

All players are required to wear shin guards covered by soccer socks. These items can be purchased at any sporting goods store.

The player’s uniform is included in the registration fee, and each player will receive one jersey. We recommend wearing black soccer shorts.

Players must also have their own soccer ball for practices.

• U5–U6: Size 3

• U8–U12: Size 4

Please have your child’s full name and age group available when calling or emailing the Legends office. This information will help us locate your child’s registration and assist you more efficiently.

Yes. Late registration is subject to a $25 late fee, and the waitlist begins August 5.

Not necessarily. We reserve the right to make roster adjustments for up to two weeks after August 30 to help ensure teams are as balanced as possible.

Refund requests must be submitted in writing (email is acceptable) before August 1. Requests must include your child’s name, age, and reason for withdrawal.

A $25 administrative fee will be deducted from all refunds, regardless of the reason for the request. Donations and late fees are nonrefundable.

Refund requests submitted after August 1 will not be honored.

Wait-listed players, or players who cannot be placed due to a lack of available space within the club, will receive a full refund.
